Labor strategist Stephen Lerner in Iowa Wednesday

Last week, George Goehl of National People's Action was in Des Moines to lay out a bold, nationwide campaign to confront corporate power and reclaim our democracy from the 1%.

Next week we are excited to host national labor and community organizer Stephen Lerner to continue to dig in on what you and I can do to make this campaign a success.

Can you join us next Wednesday, March 14 from 6:30 - 8:30pm at the Iowa CCI headquarters?

Lerner has decades of experience in the organizing field, most notably as the principal architect of the SEIU's well known Justice for Janitors campaign.  This decades long campaign has engaged over 200,000 janitors who successfully organized for better wages, healthcare benefits and work skills across the country.

Stephen is a leading strategist on how to build robust, sustained organizing campaigns to win real change - not just your one day march or informational picket.

Please use our contact form or call our office at 515.255.0800 to let us know if you'll be coming.

Hope to see you Wednesday!
